Each year, a select group of students join the New Roots Institute Fellowship. Your nomination can help a young person see themself as a leader—and it only takes a few minutes.
Applications for the 2026 Fellowship are now closed. Nominations are still being accepted and will be considered for the 2027 Fellowship. Nominees will be notified once applications reopen.
This experience strengthened my commitment to transforming food systems. I applied to the [New Roots Institute Fellowship] with the goal of wanting to learn more about factory farming, and now I leave the program feeling more informed, empowered, and connected than ever.
