Is my donation tax-deductible?

New Roots Institute is a nonprofit organization that is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult with your tax advisor if you have questions.

If you contribute via our website, you will receive a receipt for your contribution via email. If you contribute via another method (e.g., by sending us a check), please email operations@newrootsinstitute.org if you require a receipt.

How can I change my monthly contribution?

You can modify or cancel your monthly contribution on this page.

How can I donate with no fees?

You can donate fee-free through our PayPal Giving Fund account. PayPal covers all transaction fees and distributes donated funds to enrolled charities at the end of each month.

Please note your official donation receipt will come from PayPal Giving Fund.

Do you accept donations from outside the United States?

There are several donation methods available to donors outside the United States.

You can donate via our PayPal Giving Fund account.

If you'd like to do an international wire transfer to our checking account at Wells Fargo, our SWIFT code is WFBIUS6S, and our account number is 7068661599. The Wells Fargo address associated with the SWIFT code is 420 Montgomery Street, San Francisco, CA 94104.

Note: Our U.S.-based bank Wells Fargo does not use IBAN (International Bank Account Numbers).
