Fellow And Alumni Stories

JOI K. '24-'25 FELLOWSHIP
ALUM AND DONOR
My participation in New Roots Institute's Leadership Academy was truly life-changing. Before the program, I hadn't fully grasped the impact one person could have on reducing suffering in the world. Being in community with the compassionate instructors and fellow alumni deeply moved me and motivated me to pursue a career in advocacy for a more just and sustainable world, specifically in the areas of food, the environment, and animal welfare.  Knowing the profound impact the program had on my life, I was honored to donate so other changemakers can have the same opportunities I did.
