Eemon’s been in and around academia his whole life. Some of his earliest memories are sitting in his mother’s office at Sac State University and being taught math by his father. While studying applied environmental philosophy at Santa Clara University, he competed on the ethics bowl team and developed Middle Eastern North African student club initiatives. Eemon is also the founder of TRU Tutoring, a peer-to-peer tutoring company in California. He moved to Chicago to help develop the Chicago hub for New Roots Institute and currently gives lessons on the realities of factory farming to high school and University students. When he’s not teaching you can find him biking around town and dancing.
